FAQ

Before you ask

Do I need any special equipment?

No. A heavy pan, a strainer, a weighing scale and clean glass bottles. That is the whole setup.

How long does homemade masala keep?

With the correct sugar ratio and clean bottling, several months refrigerated. Get the ratio wrong and it ferments in days — which is exactly why the ratios are called out on screen in every recipe.

Do I need preservatives?

The course teaches the traditional sugar-ratio method, where the sugar itself does the preserving. Storage and shelf life are covered honestly rather than oversold.

Where do I buy the ingredients?

Everything is an ordinary kirana purchase — whole spices, dals and salt. Nothing specialised, and nothing you cannot buy locally.

Do I get the recipes in writing?

Yes — a bilingual formula guide (English + Hindi) is included free. It has ingredient tables, quantities and step-by-step method for all 6 masalas.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I do this?

Yes. Every recipe is filmed start to finish in Hindi + English with quantities shown. Most students make their first bottle the same day.

Can I sell this in India?

Yes — masala is a weekly kitchen staple and a standard festive gift. The course covers pricing, packing and where to sell.
